He also worked as an investment principal focused on residential improvement properties in New Orleans. Dave co-authored a white paper titled “Commercial Real Estate Debt Maturities: Shortfall & Implications,” published by the Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management in 2009. Dave grew up in Chevy Chase, Maryland, just outside DC. He met his wife Nicole while they were undergrads at Tulane, and relocated to Colorado following Hurricane Katrina. Out of the office, Dave enjoys spending time with Nicole, their two kids, and two dogs, getting out into Colorado’s mountains as often as possible to ski, hike, fish, and camp. He loves live music and all things sports-related. And while he’s an acclimated fan of the Nuggets, Rockies, and Avs, for better or worse he’s forever a Washington Football fan.
